ERIC MURPHY UPDATE  MAY 2025
 
NEXT STOP—ARUBA: Ministry with Word of Life missionaries Dany and Leslaine Hirschfeld to encourage them as they are just starting their ministry. Also, ministry speaking in one or two churches plus visiting pastors and youth leaders. All of these are important to develop a vision for unsaved young people in Aruba. Stephanie will be traveling with me. May 29-June 2 are the dates.
 
Our need is $2,991.00. I hope that you will be able to pray and support this mission. Thank you for all that you do. 
 
LAST STOP—NASSAU: The potential to reach 1000s of teenagers is very evident. Two churches that we work with have an invitation from the public school system to teach Bible studies to 8,000 teens. At this point they have enough workers to reach 3,000 each week in this ministry. Pray as we are trying to train more workers and provide materials to reach the other 5,000. What an opportunity! 
 
There are three new churches starting youth ministries that Dave Kelly and I helped to train.  And, there are two more wanting to get started this fall. I must say that this mission trip to Nassau was vitally important and I plan to return in September to continue the work there. 
 
COSTA RICA MISSION TRIP POSTPONED:  April 2-8 to September 18-24 … stay tuned.
 
CARIBBEAN MINISTRY STAFF CONFERENCE: April 27-30 at Word of Life Florida in Hudson. Director Mark Hall led us in planning, ministry reports, prayer, encouragement of two new missionary couples, etc. The USA Word of Life Local Church Ministry staff were in conference as well. I served with them from 1978 to 1989. It was good to meet new staff  and see what the younger generation of youth leadership is doing. Word of Life Executive Director, Don Lough, spoke giving an excellent report and message from the Word. Kris Stout, Executive Vice President overseeing International Ministries around the world also spoke. Both messages were excellent. 
 
We reviewed our plans for 2025 and made new plans for 2026 and 2027. I love it!
 
LIFE MONTENEGRO: Director Jim Compton reports that we will have Europeans coming to help at Camp Monty 2025 hailing from Denmark, Serbia, Romania and the United Kingdom. Volunteers from New Jersey and Pennsylvania will be on hand as well. Thanking God for all of these volunteers, European and American. We anticipate having one of the best Camp Monty experiences ever this summer. Put this on your prayer calendar: July 21-25, 2025, the actual dates for Camp Monty. Pray for many young Montenegrins to be saved.
