YOUTH CAMP IN COSTA RICA—JULY 2023


Costa Rican young people and pastors are asking us to return to Costa Rica for another youth camp session. Camp Destiny is scheduled for July 10-14, 2023. Pray for a great harvest!


Stephanie will teach the girl campers several times. They really loved her teaching at our last camp there in 2020. No camps since 2020 because of Covid. The public school system changed the beginning of their school year knocking us out of having camp there in February. But, God willing, we plan to be there this July. I will be doing the evangelism with ministry partner, Daniel Rojas of Thrive Vision, translating. Yes, we are excited!


Certain costs have increased, so we need $8,240.00. Would you be so kind to sponsor a needy camper to bring a teen boy or girl to Christ? Whatever amount you can give will help us reach more young Costa Ricans for the Lord.

CAMP MONTY: JULY 20-30, 2023


LIFE Montenegro Director Jim Compton is looking for people to teach English or help with tennis, soccer, basketball or baseball. Make a difference in a young life by giving 10 days or your summer. Contact Jim (609 947-6584 or Eric at [321] 663-5710 for more info. 


Camp Monty is a high powered sports camp ministering to a sports crazy country, Montenegro. And, the young people there want to learn to speak English focusing on conversational English. So, if you speak English, you qualify. Can you help? 


MORE MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES ARE DEVELOPING


Word of Life Hungary asked us to come to the Opening Weekend for their Bible Institute, September 15-17. I will be the keynote speaker for this special weekend. What a privilege! This Bible Institute has sixty-some students who are passionate about learning the Word of God and serving. Stephanie will be along to meet the students and staff. 


A former colleague of mine during the years I served in the States with Word of Life Bible Clubs in the Southeast, Dave Kelly, has invited Stephanie and me to speak at his Leadership Development Conferences in Aruba and in the Bahamas. Yes, I know, exotic locations. But, we will be moving past the glitz and resorts to churches who are reaching the young people who live on these islands. Aruba in August and the Bahamas in September … more info to come.
